Sept 16 - Spirit Day Dress Up - Soccer Mom vs BBQ Dad. HoCo Dance Tickets-Early Bird Tickets Monday, Sept 16th ONLY- sold for $10 cash or card, during lunch.

Sept 17 - Spirit Day Dress Up - Airport outfit (Pajama Day). HoCo Dance Tickets sold for $15 cash or card, during lunch.

Sept 18 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am. Spirit Day Dress Up - 9th grade blue out, 10th grade Greek, 11th grade Tropical, 12th grade Western, Staff MV Spirit wear. 6:30 pm is the Homecoming Parade, followed by the Jr vs. Sr girls' Powder Puff Game in the stadium. Free entrance to the Powder Puff game, everyone welcome! HoCo Dance Tickets sold for $15 cash or card, during lunch.

Sept 19 - Spirit Day Dress Up - Disco vs. 70-year-old style. HoCo Dance Tickets sold for $15 cash or card, during lunch.

Sept 20 – Spirit Day Dress Up - Spirit Wear. Senior Blue Bomb, All school Pep Assembly in the Main gym. HoCo Dance Tickets sold for $15 cash or card, during lunch. Homecoming Football Game at 7pm with Coronation and our Homecoming King and Queen crowning at Halftime. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students. MVHS students get in free with their school activity pass.

Sept 21 – Homecoming Dance 8-10:30pm in the Aux gym. NO entrance after 9pm. 

Sept 25 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am. Parent/Teacher Conferences evening only from 4:00pm-7:30pm. Teachers will be stationed in the Aux gym and Commons in a first come first serve arena style format.

Sept 26 – Parent/Teacher Conferences all day from 9:30am - 8:00pm. Teachers will be available in their classrooms for private conferences from 9:30am-  4:30pm, they will take a dinner break from 4:30pm - 5:30pm, and then teachers will be available in the arena style format in the Aux gym and Commons from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. No school for students.

Sept 27 – No school students or staff

Oct 2 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am

Oct 5 – Cardiac Testing in the Senior café from 8am-5pm

Oct 9 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am

Oct 10 – College/Career Fair during Seminar in the PAC (US Army, US Air National Guard, Univ of Alabama, US Air Force)

Oct 15 – All school Testing Day – Pre ACT 9, Pre ACT 10, ACT and SAT. **Note- this is a "no color" day. Freshman and sophomores will take the Pre ACT test. Juniors and Seniors who have OPTED IN will take the ACT test. Testing will take place from 7:50-11:30am. Following testing, students will travel to their Blue 4 teacher for the lunch block and will then travel to their seminar teacher for the last block of the day. BOTH of these blocks will serve as a time for students to catch up on missing work and prepare for the first quarter grading period.

Oct 17 - College/Career Fair during Seminar in the PAC (K-State, Missouri S&T, Truman State Univ, Paul Mitchell the School Overland Park, Highland Community College)

Oct 18 – No school for Students

Oct 24 – Picture Retake Day from 7:30-11:00am in the Media Center. Morning CTEC students who want a picture retake should plan to take their picture at 7:30am at MVHS. College/Career Fair during Seminar in the PAC (US Army, US Air National Guard, Johnson County Mental Health (career opportunity))

Oct 27 – Haunted Halls

Oct 29 – PSAT testing in Aux gym 7:50am-10:30am

Oct 30 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am

Oct 31 - College/Career Fair during Seminar in the PAC (Kansas Wesleyan Univ, Fort Hays State Univ, UMKC, Wichita State Univ, Pittsburg State Univ, Univ of Missouri, William Woods Univ, JCCC)

Nov 6 - Late Start Day - school starts at 8:20am. Musical Performance of Footloose 7pm in the PAC.

Nov 7 - Musical Performance of Footloose 7pm in the PAC.
