Throughout the month of December, USD 232 recognized five exceptional staff members with the TORCH Award. This honor celebrates team members who go above and beyond, demonstrating remarkable dedication to students and the district community.

The recipients for December were:

• Courtney Schnurr, first grade teacher at Mize Elementary
• Deana Thom, registrar at Mill Valley High School
• Jamie Resseguie, PE teacher at Mill Valley High School
• Janet Minihan, lead secretary at Mize Elementary
• Sara Evans, special services teacher at Mill Valley High School
