6A Regional Champions

The Mill Valley girls golf team qualified for State after winning the 6A regional at Falcon Lakes. They shot a 346 and won by 5 strokes.

Students and parents came out to send off the volleyball girls to the State Tournament.They play in Salina, KS to try and defend their State title. Good luck ladies! 

National Merit Semifinalists
National Merit Semifinalists

Carter Tollman and Shubh Patel are named Semifinalists for the Nation Merit Scholarship program. They were recognized at the BOE meeting by the Superintendent Cory Gibson.

Performing Arts Sock Drive
Performing Arts Sock Drive

The MVHS Performing Arts Department recently conducted a Sock Drive to collect socks to support the Kansas City homeless community in conjunction with their fall musical, “Footloose!” The donated socks will be delivered to the homeless through the organization Free Hot Soup KC. Many theater goers donated socks for this worthy cause. Thanks to these folks and a most generous donation from patron Jenny Olsen we collected over 1,000 pairs of socks!

The Mill Valley Cheer team won the UCA Regionals in Kansas City, MO on Saturday Nov 9th. Congratulations to MV Cheer on their Regional Championship!
